Ingredients

Low-calorie cooking spray

2 large red chillies, deseeded and finely chopped

1  onion, finely chopped

2  garlic cloves, crushed

400g passata

200ml hot vegetable stock

Method

1.           Spray a non-stick saucepan with low-calorie cooking spray and sauté the chillies, onion and garlic over a high heat for 5 minutes until softened.

 

2.           Add the passata and stock, bring to the boil, cover and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes until reduced slightly and thickened. Season to taste and serve.
