Ingredients
Low-calorie cooking spray
6 onions, peeled and thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves, plus thyme sprigs to garnish
1 litre vegetable stock
Method
1. Spray a heavy-based saucepan with low-calorie cooking spray. Add the onions and garlic and sauté for 20-25 minutes over a very low heat, until golden brown.
Stir well before adding the thyme and stock, bring to the boil and simmer for about 10
